At the Highway 411 office
Bring the tank. We refill it.
Family-owned in Cartersville since 1972. Refills handled at the Highway 411 office during regular hours.
At the Highway 411 counter.
Propane lives at the Highway 411 office only. The propane canopy sits on the side of the building; come into the office, tell the counter what you need, and we will take care of it.
Open Monday through Saturday from 7am to 6pm, and Sunday from 1pm to 6pm. If you have an unusual tank or more than a few at once, give us a call ahead at (770) 382‑8585 so we can be ready.
How a refill works.
Bring the tank to the office and we will take it from there.
- 01
Bring the tank to the Highway 411 office.
The propane canopy sits on the side of the building. Come in to the counter and let us know what you need.
- 02
Tank inspection.
We check the manufacture date on the collar, the OPD valve, and the condition of the tank. If anything is out of spec, we will tell you on the spot.
- 03
Refill at the pump.
We top off the tank and confirm the fill. A small grill cylinder takes only a few minutes; a larger tank takes a little longer.
- 04
Pay at the counter.
Cash or card. Current storage renters can put it on their tab. Receipts on request.
Bringing the tank.
Common-sense rules for any propane tank trip, not just to our counter.
Close the tank valve and put the dust cap back on before you load up.
Keep the tank upright and secured — never on its side, never loose in the trunk.
Crack a rear window if you have to transport inside a vehicle.
Never leave a tank in a hot car for more than a few minutes.
Drive directly to the counter and back; propane is not a side-trip cargo.
